Lake Como

Como, renowned for its breathtaking landscape, historical villas with picturesque gardens, stone hamlets, sailing boats and little wooden fishing boats, which have inspired artists and poets countless times to feature it in their works.

It’s possible to admire the stunning scenery in various ways. Taking the funicular up to Brunate gives you an impressive view from above, or you can take a boat trip on the lake, stroll around the streets of the picturesque hamlets or pedal along the shores absorbing the breathtaking scenery from below.

Each season, summer or winter, during the flowering of Spring or the magnificent colours of the Autumn has something special to offer. If you’re visiting during special days like the celebration on Comacina Island for Saint John the Baptist (24th June), or just normal days, day or night time.

If you’re visiting for the first time or returning, Lake Como is always different but always familiar.
