Second time at the Palace.  Loved it twice as much.  Despite late arrival, the room requested in the new wing which we stayed in before was ready.  Room was very comfortable as was the bath.  Breakfast was varied and plentiful and delicious.  But the best was the staff.  Reception staff was always ready to help, remembered not only our faces but names and the key out an ready on return.  Porter went over and above on our departure when he asked taxi driver to assist us with our luggage to the platform at the train station.  Definitely will come back and recommend to others.  Location is wonderful close to shops and restaurants and the ferries. But if you're coming from Milan by train arrive at the Nord station.
